• Best for: 3-4 bedroom homes, typical Iraqi family

Quick Sizing Rule

Count your AC units. Each 1.5-ton AC needs about 1.5kW of solar capacity. So 2 ACs = 3kW minimum, 3 ACs = 5kW, 4+ ACs = 10kW. Add 20% for other appliances and you have your ideal system size.
