Why Partner With Us

Built for Iraqi Logistics Carriers

Solar equipment is high-value, fragile, and bulky — most general carriers lack the process to handle it well. SolarCity Iraq partners with carriers who understand fragile-goods logistics and want consistent, structured order flow from a growing marketplace.

📦

Confirmed Orders, Not Leads

Every delivery request comes from a confirmed customer order with a verified delivery address, full item list, and payment cleared. No speculation, no dry runs.

📈

Your Rates by Governorate

You set a single delivery rate per governorate in the /carrier-rates portal. Competitive rates win more routes. No fixed pricing from SolarCity.

Structured Delivery Manifests

Each order includes a full item manifest: panel quantity, inverter model, battery units, and accessories. You know exactly what you are collecting before dispatch.

🏆

Build Your Carrier Rating

Successful deliveries and customer satisfaction scores build your carrier rating. Higher ratings improve your priority in route allocation when multiple carriers serve a governorate.

🌎

Multi-Route Expansion

Start with one or two governorates and expand as your capacity grows. Update your active governorates in the portal at any time — no approval needed.

🔒

Protected Partner Terms

Mutual NDA covers your rates and business data. Your pricing remains private between you and SolarCity — not visible to customers or other carriers.

Rate Structure

Per-Governorate Delivery Rates

SolarCity Iraq operates across all 18 Iraqi governorates. You set a single IQD delivery rate for each governorate you serve. The platform applies your rate to every order dispatched to that governorate — no per-order negotiation, no surprises.

Rates are set and updated through the /carrier-rates portal. You can activate or deactivate individual governorates at any time. Orders for governorates where you have no active rate are automatically routed to another carrier.

Region Governorates Typical demand profile
Central Baghdad, Babylon, Karbala, Najaf, Wasit Highest order volume; dense urban delivery
Northern Nineveh, Dohuk, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Kirkuk, Saladin Strong residential demand; longer routes
Western Anbar Growing; large commercial projects common
Southern Basra, Dhi Qar, Diyala, Maysan, Muthanna, Qadisiyyah High solar adoption; set higher rates for remote areas

Rate guidance: carriers typically price based on distance from Baghdad warehouses, route access difficulty, and fuel costs. The platform shows you where competing carriers are active — position your rates accordingly.

Handling Standards

Fragile-Goods Expectations

Solar panels, inverters, and batteries are high-value electronics and glass. Damage in transit is the single largest source of partner disputes. All SolarCity carriers are expected to meet the following handling standards on every shipment.

Handling requirements

Panels
Always transported flat or standing upright in original packaging. Never stacked on their face. Maximum 2-high without load-bearing dividers. No goods stacked on top of panel cartons during transit.
Inverters
Transported in original foam-lined packaging. Kept upright — not on their side. Protected from direct sunlight and excessive heat (above 50°C in truck beds during Iraqi summers).
Batteries
LiFePO4 batteries require upright transport, no impact or drop from height. Keep terminals protected. Do not stack more than 2 units without manufacturer-approved racking. Follow local transport regulations for lithium batteries where applicable.
Loading
Use appropriate tie-downs and padding to prevent shifting. Carrier is responsible for a condition check at pickup and photographing the cargo before departure. Photos are uploaded to the order in the portal within 1 hour of pickup.
Delivery
Carrier and customer inspect all items together on delivery. Customer signs the delivery confirmation in the portal. Any damage noted at delivery is logged immediately — disputes submitted without a delivery photo are not accepted.
Liability
Carriers are financially responsible for damage caused by improper handling. SolarCity deducts verified damage costs from the carrier’s payout for the affected order. Repeated damage incidents result in account suspension.
How You Get Paid

Payout Flow

SolarCity Iraq pays carriers on confirmed delivery. The payout cycle is straightforward — no invoicing required from your side, no waiting for end-of-month settlements for completed orders.

Order Confirmed

Customer confirms their order. SolarCity assigns the delivery to you based on your active governorate rate.

Pickup from Warehouse

You collect the shipment from the SolarCity fulfilment point. Upload a cargo condition photo in the portal.

Delivery to Customer

Deliver to the customer’s address. Customer confirms receipt and condition in the portal or via WhatsApp.

Delivery Verified

SolarCity marks the delivery complete in the system. Your delivery fee is queued for payout.

Payout Released

Payment transferred to your registered Iraqi bank account or cash pickup point within 3 business days of verified delivery.

Payouts are withheld or adjusted for unresolved damage claims. Carriers with a verified clean track record of 20+ deliveries are eligible for weekly batch payouts on request.

The Carrier Portal

How /carrier-rates Works

The carrier portal is your rate management centre. Log in, set your IQD delivery rate for each governorate you serve, and the platform routes matching orders to you automatically.

1

Log in at /my

Use your SolarCity carrier account. Your governorate rate table appears under “My Delivery Rates” in the menu.

2

Set your rate per governorate

Enter your IQD delivery rate for each governorate you serve. Leave a governorate blank to exclude it from your active routes — no orders will be sent to you for that area.

3

Receive delivery assignments

When a customer in your active governorate confirms an order, you receive a delivery assignment with the full item manifest, pickup location, and customer delivery address.

4

Complete the delivery

Collect from warehouse, photograph cargo, deliver to customer. Log the outcome in the portal. Customer confirms receipt.

5

Receive payment

Payout released within 3 business days of confirmed delivery. Track all payouts and pending amounts in your portal dashboard.
